High-speed jet combat built for intensity.
Into The Fray is a solo project I developed in Unity for my Advanced Game Programming course. I handled everything from 3D modelling in 3DS Max to scripting AI-controlled enemy jets and player flight mechanics.
The game is a fast-paced jet simulator focused on aerial dogfights, designed to capture the feel of real-world combat without losing that arcade punch. I paid a lot of attention to atmosphere and immersion, including using real military audio recordings for jet engines and missile launches to make the experience feel grounded and intense.
I also built in multiple camera perspectives, giving players the ability to switch between cinematic angles mid-flight to boost the game’s overall feel. While it currently stands as a prototype, Into The Fray pushed me to really focus on polish, pacing, and getting that satisfying "jet fighter" vibe just right.
