DisGo is a multiplayer party game we built as a capstone project in Unity. The whole idea is pretty simple: four players run around a disco-themed arena trying to steal and hold onto the spotlight for as long as possible. What made the project fun was how much of the game revolved around movement, timing, and just trying to keep the chaos readable when four people were all going at once.

I worked as both a programmer and designer on the project, mainly on gameplay-related systems. A lot of my work went into player mechanics and game feel, including things like rail grinding, powerups, player feedback, rumble, and other smaller systems that helped the game feel more polished moment to moment. I also worked on the victory scene and some of the camera setup used for cinematic and trailer shots.

The parts I’m probably happiest with were the rail grinding, the victory scene work, and the cinematic camera stuff. Those were all areas where a lot of small details mattered, and it was satisfying getting them to a point where they felt good on screen instead of just technically working.

DisGo was definitely a team effort, and I think that shows in the final result. It gave me a lot of experience working in a group pipeline, contributing both design and programming work, and helping shape a project that had a pretty clear style and identity from the start.
